The gameplay is an evolution of the one saw in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag: a combination of stealth and exploration in third person with naval battles. Everything else stays the sameĪs for the content, Assassin's Creed Rogue is still the same adventure you saw in the consoles: the story takes place in the mid-XIX century during the Seven Years' War and we play as Shay Patrick Cormac, and Assassin turned Templar.
The lightning has more options, you will see smoke coming out of cannons. For example, the draw distance is bigger so you will not see the grass appearing from out of nowhere any longer. In Rogue for PC the naval battles work like a charm.ĪC Rogue for PC enjoys other improvements that may not be so spectacular but that combine to make the visual spectacle even better. In PS3 and Xbox 360 these sequences suffered slowdowns due to the high quantity of elements on the screen: water effects, moving ships. This difference is specially apparent in the naval sequences.
Assassin's Creed Rogue is more fluid in PC.
